Develop a Flight Information Display System for mobile phones to provide real-time flight information to passengers of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
purpose/intention
The design will help guide people using this mobile information. It should be clear and simple to look at. The design provides directional information.
Audience
A focus on a middle ground/ “average” flyer. Someone who's flown before, but not often, and is familiar with technology and apps.
Context
Airports are busy environments with lots of movement and distractions. Travelers tend to juggle a lot. The users could also be at home or traveling to the airport.
RESEARCH
I noticed multiple examples of complementary colors. I like how some of the examples use elements of what the physical representation of the design would be. For example, some of the shapes are reminiscent of a ticket because that relates to what the design represents. The typeface tends to be sans-serif and simple.

To get to this point, I adjusted to colors, including my use of the peach color to emphasize information and guide the user. I added a profile page to repurpose elements and add information. I made the drop-down more functional. The "Atlanta" of Atlanta International Airport became a larger element.
